Formerly performing as ROMiii, VAMPS has played countless festivals and venues across San Francisco, building a reputation for sets that find beauty in darkness — sampling minor modes, crafting groovy, dark, and occasionally beautiful malaise.
The philosophy is simple: optimism through pessimism — the shared burden we all feel is what unites us. Drawing from generative techniques and four-on-the-floor foundations, every set is an invitation to find something unexpected in the void.
